Classic exchange in the comments section of the local fishwrap over the weekend...
Teabagger NCResident: Without the TELEPROMPTR, Barry Soetero mumbles. Really embarrassing, the way The President of The United States of America jive talks when he doesn't know the mic is on. Any evidence that Barry ever became a citizen of the USA? No, I didn't think so. [emphasis added, ed.]
Sideline1: Well, I knew it would come eventually. Turn the light on and, yes, eventually the Klan-Roach scuttles about. Your use of the expression "jive talk" has outed you--and I don't even care about your moronic "He ain't MERRican!!" nonsense.
You have revealed yourself, 'neath the hood. Everyone? Meet NCResident, a little man who's afraid of African American men.
NCResident: So, the BeeGees are racists, too? From Wiki-...Maurice goes on to say "We played it to Arif producer Arif Mardin, and he went "Do you know what "Jive Talkin'" means? And we said, well yeah, it's, ya know, you're dancing. He says NO...it's a black expression for bullshi**ing. And we went OH, REALLY?!?"[emphasis added, ed.]
Isn't there something strange about the way the President of the USA sounds when he thinks the mic's are "off." Compared to the TELEPROMPTR speeches???
Hornet: This is flat bullsh!te. I find it funny that you would come up with this line of argument just days after an actual tape surfaced of Obama talking to supporters when he thought the mic was off. It's the now famous "Do you think we're stupid?" clip, and Obama is most certainly not "jive-talking." In fact, he sounds like a Harvard educated lawyer recounting how he played hardball with Boehner and the Republicans.
Oh, whadd'ya know? Here's the clip.
Sound like "jive-talking" to you?
NCResident: (Change voice from articulate TELEPROMPTR mode) Stumble, mumble...blah, blah, blah...Let me tell you somethin'...blah...You wanna repeal health care...the notion that I'm gonna let you undo that... blah,blah...You think we're stupid?...and, and, and, blah, blah, blah and I'm tryin to be responsible ah, ah, ah...Let me tell you sumthun'...but, but, but...cutting health care would cost us a trillion dollars...
