UPDATE: I had only been making a joke (see: "Muslin," above) about the depth of Birther denial, but it's even more absurd than I had believed. It should come as no surprise,but the Birther wingnuts are already dismissing the release of Obama's birth certificate as a cover-up and a political stunt. "What took so long...?" "It's a forgery..." "It proves he was adopted..." Clearly this bit of wingnut racist paranoia will never be put to bed.
