Harder to Kill Than a Teflon-Coated Cockroach

The Birthers will not be denied their delusions...

Here's a comment from Amanda Marcotte's quick-take at XXfactor...
SandyT: I do believe that he is a citizen, just not a natural-born citizen, as required by the Constitution to qualify for the office of President. As I said, his father was a British subject. The president must not owe allegiance to any other country. Also, when his mother and father divorced and she married Lolo Soetoro, Soetoro adopted Barack, making him a citizen of Indonesia. There is no evidence that Obama re-applied for American citizenship. If he released his college records, they would probably show that Obama (Barry Soetoro) attended college as a foreign student and got financial aid as such.
Are you saying that you don't have any doubts about him? Why won't he release all of his records and why has he spent so much money to hide them? Why does he use a social security number that was issued to someone else? Social security numbers are not recycled. The one he uses was issued in Connecticut and he has never lived or worked there.
And here's the aptly named ElPolacko in the comments at the SLO Tribune (a cut-and-paste job certainly, as this unrepentant troll couldn't actually string together 5 words, let alone several paragraphs...
Citizenship is not determined by being born in the U.S. . . . I don't care what some judge held in 1898. The Dissenting Chief Justice in that case had it right.

Congress (not the judiciary) has enumerated plenary power over naturalization law, and legislated act since 1790 required a U.S. citizen father for a child to be a citizen. If the U.S. citizen mother was single or abandoned, laws were eventually passed to protect her maiden citizenship to confer it to her children.

Therefore, Barack Hussein Obama was a British citizen at birth, but gained U.S. 'citizenship at birth' status per se when the Kenyan father abandoned Dunham and child (plus, turned out to be a bigamist). See the 1948 British Nationality Act (11 & 12 Geo. 6.) CHAPTER 56. Part II, and 8 U.S.C. 1101(b)(2) - Def. Legal Parent. See also 8 U.S.C. 1401(a), or (g) and 1409(a)

Mother Dunham married another Muslim and little Barry became Indonesian, and remained Indonesian until under the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act § 301(a)(7) fulfilled five-years of continuous residency from ages 14 through 19, thereby attaining full U.S. citizen status upon reaching the age of majority.

It was Mother Dunham's U.S. citizenship and Hawaiian residency with Barack that voided British jurisdiction (the real meaning of 'under the jurisdiction thereof') over the child, and Barack beginning life until age six as a U.S. citizen.

Barack Hussein Obama was a U.S. citizen, fully, at age 19. He had dual nationality until then.

He was never a 'natural born citizen,' i.e., born of U.S. citizen parents and NOT requiring 'natural-ization' law to remove/make inchoate alien jurisdiction.

Are there UFO's? I'm not sure . . . I am sure Barack Hussein Obama is not Article II eligible to the presidency. I am also most certain that the judiciary misinterpreted the laws that now make babies of illegal aliens citizens of the United States.

The two issues are related, because everyone is confusing 'native-born' with 'natural born;' the first is idiomatic, and the latter a specific term of art.
See, the ink's not yet even dry on this morning's forged birth certificate and the conspiracy has morphed into something else altogether.
