Priorities II: If You Have to Ask, You Can't Afford It

Congress has proposed cutting $20.5-billion from the federally-funded Food Stamps program (the Senate only wants to cut $4-billion), at the same time the President has decided to start providing military aid to Syrian rebels.  And they don't even feel the need to mention how much that's going to cost. Nowhere in this article (or any other I could find) does it say how much we're going to spend in Syria, but we do know the Food Stamp cuts could force more than 200,000 needy children off the school lunch program.
