"De Nile"

As the old saying goes, denial is not just a river in Egypt. It's the lifeblood coursing through the veins of the Republican Party.  Be it global warming, evolution, tax increases...and now statistical political polling, common sense is a distant memory for our friends on the conservative side of the aisle.

In case you haven't heard, here's a Cheeto-eating basement-dweller who "unskews" the polls in order to show that Mitt Romney is leading Barack Obama by a nearly insurmountable 7.4% in the national race.  This goofball actually predicts Romney will win 350 electoral  votes!

As a wise analyst here says (paraphrasing) "If every other poll is pointing in the opposite direction from yours, it's probably true that you are wrong."
There are no shortage of assumptions here, and they run from mildly errant to totally absurd. And, for the moment, let's leave aside the fact that Chambers appears at the end to be predicting the most lopsided defeat of a presidential incumbent since Herbert Hoover got dropped by a 57-40 margin in 1932.
