Mitt Protested in Favor of Vietnam War, Did Not Serve

Mitt Romney (far right) protests at Stanford University, 1966.

Here's a devastating piece from Lawrence O'Donnell documenting Mitt Romney's dodge of participation in the Vietnam War. Perhaps the most offensive part of this story -- more so than the "make-a-heart-for-my-sweetheart-on-a-French-beach-while-my-peers-are-dying-by-the-thousands-in-the-Vietnamese-jungle" photo -- is the revelation that Romney actively protested in favor of the draft in the months before he obtained a religious deferment to go on a proselytizing Mormon mission in France.

Virginia Senator Jim Webb lays the hypocrisy bare...
