I find it exceedingly revelatory that Donald Trump -- Donald Fucking Trump! -- arrives two years late to the teabaggers' racist freak-out against Barack Obama, only to dredge up the thoroughly discredited "birther" red-herring and immediately ascend to the top of the heap in polling for the Republican presidential race. Such development says far more about the Republican Party than it does about Trump, the specious, loathsome and silver-spooned PT Barnum of the AC Boardwalk.
Clearly, this odious douchebag is never, ever, going to get the GOP nomination. In fact, I seriously doubt this moronic, grandstanding sleazebag even has any actual plans to run (though if he does it would provide endless mordant comedic opportunities). In the meantime, however, he appears bound and determined to plumb the depths of America's racist idiocy. Now he's implying Barack Obama got into Columbia and Harvard under less than legitimate circumstance (read: affirmative action). His evidence for this teabagger dog-whistle? "I heard," Trump says, "he was a terrible student." Well, surely that settles it, as far as the Confederate flag set is concerned.
