Here's some additional footage from the town hall meeting Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wisconsin) threw for his constituents. I'd say they were in a fairly confrontational mood, but who can blame them when their idiot, unprepared, teabagger congressman is trying to feed them a line of bull?
I think it's hilarious how the people in the audience are clearly better informed than Duffy, so much so that at the end he basically throws in the towel and says to one gentleman: "Let me tell you what. When you have your town hall you can stand up and give your presentation." As anybody who ever participated in a high school debate knows, when you're reduced to silencing your opponents by claiming ownership of the floor, you've lost the argument. And besides, those people voted for that tool! It's just as much their town hall as it is his!!
Who is Sean Duffy? We thought you'd never ask! Turns out he's a "champion lumberjack" (of the log-rolling and pole-climbing variety, as opposed to the wood-chopping variety) who does color commentary for ESPN's Great Outdoor Games and also appeared on MTV's Real World, where he met the wife with whom he's since produced six children in 10 years of marriage. He's also facing a potential recall election as a staunch supporter of union-busting Wisconsin governor Scott Walker.
Now, after reviewing that bio, don't you find yourself wondering: "Why the hell don't I run for Congress?"
