Sarah Palin Visits India, Misses the Good Stuff

Sometimes the best and most telling journalism isn't found in the lede. This New York Times article recapping Sarah Palin's recent visit to India, for example, waits until the fourth paragraph to offer a humorously prescient forecast of what the presidential priorities would be in a Palin White House...
Ms. Palin and her husband, Todd, were in India for such a short time that they did not get a chance to see the Taj Mahal, in part because it is closed on Fridays, the only day they had free time. Instead...they went to one of New Delhi’s glitzy new shopping malls.

  1. I real hope one of these retreads and blowhards runs for president, not because they have a chance of winning but because I like to see the train wreck that they will cause.
