There's speculation in some circles that Chris Lee had to resign from Congress because his fumbled attempt at a tryst involved an adult heterosexual woman [who was not a prostitute]. Had it been a live boy or a dead hooker, or a gay man or a farm animal, he might have hung on at least through the end of his term.

My guess is that he resigned so fast because there's more to this story than has come out thus far. Expect more details in the coming days.
