During the Public Comment period at this morning's meeting, some local lunatic speaking out in favor of increased private funding for the library system said:
"As an intellectual with two doctorate degrees, I realize libraries are set up to accommodate the lowest-common denominator, but when I'm sitting there doing research on Proposition 23, I shouldn't be told to move just because it's someone else's favorite computer."
Dude, as an intellectual with two doctorate degrees who's using a public computer at the local library, how 'bout you get over your high opinion of yourself?
