Like Having Cleopatra Play the Medusa

In perhaps the most wrong-headed casting decision made yet in this young century, the London Daily Telegraph is reporting that there's talk of Hollywood production based on the Valerie Plame affair. You would think the talk would center on what attractive blonde actress might play the outed spy. Sadly, you'd be wrong. Incredible as it may seem, the film will apparently focus on matronly reporter Judith Miller, who spent 80-some days in jail for refusing to testify in the Scooter Libby trial. Who would play Judith, you ask? No, not Lily Tomlin, but one Kate Beckinsale.
