Since the killings in Newtown last December 14, at least 5048 new victims have met their demise on the wrong end of the gun.
So it goes.
When the best news you can find is that the owner of the company that makes the AR-15 can't sell the business because it is so toxic (and YAY! for the free market), yet we still can't pass a simple law requiring universal background checks, it's clear we still have a long way to address the nation's unhealthy fixation with guns.
