There are people waiting in line for HOURS to vote in important places like Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Colorado and Wisconsin. I live in a smallish town in a solidly blue state, where I've rarely had to wait more than a few minutes to vote.
My hat's off to anyone who takes the time think it through, get up early, ride the bus, take a cab, walk a mile, sit in traffic, take vacation time, fend off vote-suppression people who want to intimidate you (or debate a curmudgeonly uncle), and THEN stand in line for anything over 20 minutes.
There are countless reasons not to vote. There's really only one reason for it: To let your voice be heard!
