Wingnut Letter of the Day

San Luis Obispo Tribune:

Positive Palin
You receive few pro-Palin letters? If true, is it possible some have given up reading your paper because they are tired of being marinated in negativity? Writing a letter would be a waste of their time. Here are some observations made in the past few weeks:

No one I have talked with had anything negative to say about Sarah Palin. They are very positive about her ideas and attitude.

Her common sense, family values and pride of country are motivational. She and her family are devoted to their country. Commitment like theirs gives a whole new meaning to land of the “brave.”

During the pledge of allegiance at a meeting recently, I observed another phenomenon. Facing our flag, men and women seemed to stand up straighter, hands proudly placed over hearts, speaking the words “under God” a bit louder than usual.

When she talks to us, she looks straight at us and uses language everyone can understand. Have you ever daydreamed about catching that game-winning touchdown? Well, Sarah makes us feel like it actually could be possible on America’s 2008 team, “with liberty and justice for all.”

Experience? Ask any Alaskan.

Wow. Just wow.
