Off to watch a Philadelpia sports team deliver a merciless beatdown to the (hated) Loss Angeles Dodgers.

Phils win 8-5. Lead series 2-zip. We are going to Game 3 in LA!!!

NEW: "Bandwagon"? I'm accused of being on the "bandwagon"?


Photo includes piece of Veterans Stadium turf removed -- by force -- from the grounds on October 21, 1980, the night the Phillies won their most recent World Series title. My Dad obtained the turf from a groundskeeper he shook down after the game. The ball is one I got at Robin Roberts' Hall of Fame induction in 1974. It's autographed by about 25 Hall of Famers.

Bandwagoner....please. The Phillies have lost more games than the Dodgers have played, and I feel like I've suffered through every damn one of them.

    What? No h/t? I saw loss #10,001 in person. Awesome. Sorry I missed the first 10,000. Guess I better lay off. Looks like I hit a nerve. Jeez, you would think the Phils were down 2-0.
