A[n] [un]remarkable moment on Meet the Press last week. Barney Frank asks a simple question ("If the banks are so stressed economically that they can't conduct the normal business of loaning money, how are CEOs able to pay themselves so much money?"). The deer-in-the-headlights look on Hank Paulsen's face is priceless, as his eyes dart around looking for someone else to answer the question. Then Maria Bartiromo lets out a big belly-laugh -- like the question was a fucking joke or something?? -- before they both are saved by host David Gregory, who completely ignores Frank's point and changes the subject.
