Spending Priorities

We do have choices: We can drop a few billion dollars worth of bombs on Syria, or we can [pick any one or more of the following] save Detroit, save the post office, save Head Start, print more food stamps, expand unemployment benefits, raise the minimum wage, prosecute the banksters, save our schools, build a bridge, repair a highway, fix a road, lower the cost of higher education, reinvigorate our national parks, pay teachers what they deserve...or...drop a few billion dollars out of a helicopter over American cities large and small.
