I think it's a good idea politically to banish the phrase "gun control" from our activist lexicon as the firearm debate moves forward. Better to use the phrase "gun safety legislation," ad infintum. There are already strong signs that politicians are being held accountable for their votes against "gun safety" laws. Let's keep their feets to the fire as we continue pushing for wiser and more stringent "gun safety" legislation.
