Casual Observation

Running into a lot of people these days in their 30s 40s, 50s (and beyond) who are in a bad way financially. Most of them have jobs. Those that do are living paycheck to paycheck (or worse). None of them has any retirement, or health insurance, or anything close to financial security or peace of mind. None of them has any disposable income. They can't even afford to do the little things that make life bearable, like going to concerts or movies or sporting events. All they're doing now is treading water. I find myself wondering what's going to happen to them in 20 or 30 years?
