It's often been said that Ty Cobb was an asshole and in some respects perhaps Babe Ruth wasn't much better, but it's undeniable that each man was one of the best ever to play the game. Well, in the world of American politics, Newt Gingrich will have to go down as one of the most distasteful, hypocritical men ever to put his hand on any Bible and take an oath of office...but just watch him spin scandal into gold and hit the ball right out of the park after CNN host John King opens tonight's debate with a question about Newt's "open marriage" problem:
