Met a guy yesterday at Bull's Tavern who swears he's about to make a small fortune on Iraqi currency, aka the Dinar. The way it works? He bought 1 million dinar a few years back at .007-cents on the dollar. That's a $7,000 investment. According to this investor barfly, the dinar is very close being accepted on the international currency exchange(?), at which point he expects his million dinar to be worth anywhere from $350,000 to $500,000. Should happen in the next two days. I told him I'd check back with him later this week to see if he's buying the drinks.
