Co-worker leaving for the weekend just mentioned he's going to his father-in-law's "100th birthday party."
"100th?!?" I marveled, "Wow, congratulations to him!"
"Oh no, he's been dead since 1987, but you know how we Mexican families do things. We'll bring a 12-pack of Coronas to a 1-year-old's birthday party...and we still celebrate the patriarch 23 years after he's dead."
