What're the odds? No, not that Stanford snapped UConn's 90-game winning streak, nor even that the last team to have beaten UConn before they began the streak (in the spring of 2008) was...Stanford University. No, the question is, what are the odds that the particulars of the UConn streak played out in exactly the same fashion as UCLA's record run in the early 1970s? Notre Dame, which broke UCLA's 88-game streak in 1974, was also the last team to have beaten the Bruins before they went on their run.
Weird.
