I'm reminded that those damn Republicans did the same sort of thing (as below) with "reconciliation." They raised holy freaking hell when the Democrats used a reconciliation vote to pass President Obama's Affordable Health Care Act, but hadn't hesitated 10 years previously to use the very same procedure to pass the so-called "Bush tax cuts."
They are shameless bastards, I'll give them that.
