Meg Whitman told her supporters today that the Republican "tidal wave" was going to carry her to victory in the gubernatorial race, but it appears that tidal wave crested at the state border, because the LA Times is projecting that both Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer are going to prevail in their races for the Statehouse and the Senate.
All I can say is, "Thank you California, for bringing some sense of sanity and reason to an otherwise fairly crazy election night."
