I was stuck in an interminable meeting and as a result missed the game tonight, but the word is my favorite baseball team failed to win again and now faces elimination from the post season tournament. My cell phone started blowing up with text messages at about 8:35pm. It was all my NoCal friends, as opposed to my Philly cousins, so I knew it was gonna be bad news.
