I'm so old I can remember when former Republican Senator Alan Simpson of Wyoming was considered an irascible -- but lovable and bipartisan -- old coot.
Now he's just a mean old man, who makes inappropriate comments, hates everybody and yells at the clouds and the little children because the world is passing him by.
Oh, did I mention that Barack Obama has brought him on board to help save destroy Social Security?
