The Isner-Mahut match at Wimbledon is now into its eighth hour. The score in the 5th-set tiebreaker, at 12:26pm (Wednesday), is Isner 53 games, Mahut 52.

There have been times in the past when a baseball team has put up so many runs at Fenway Park that the stadium's prized manual scoreboard was ill-equipped to post a double-digit number, but here we have a tennis match that's gone on so long its numbers have outstripped the reporting capabilities of an Internet website! That note enciricled at the top reads: "Please add 50 to the Isner/Mahut game scores..."
