The Hawk

Andre Dawson takes his richly deserved spot in the Baseball Hall of Fame. For a time in the '70s and '80s, he was on of the most feared hitters in the National League. In 21 big league seasons, he batted .279, with 438 homers and 1591 RBIs. He was a first-to-third guy who hit 593 doubles, 98 triples and stole 314 bases. He also had a rocket of an arm that tallied 157 assists from deep in right field. Welcome to the Hall, Andre "The Hawk" Dawson...somehow I see him going in as a Cub, though he certainly made a name for himself with the Expos. He played 10 years in Montreal, 6 in Chicago.
