Note: This strategy will have the added bonus of forcing the four recalcitrant, so-called "Democrats" who oppose the public option -- Blanche Lincoln ("D"-Arkansas), Ben Nelson ("D"-Nebraska), Mary Landrieu ("D"-Louisiana) and Droopy Lieberman ("Traitor"-Connecticut) -- of having to stand up and work with the Republicans, on camera, for all the world to see -- against their own party's signature issue. There are only four of them, versus 56 Democrats solidly in favor of the public option. If they don't think their stance is going to get them unelected, well, then let them find out the hard way what happens when you're on the wrong side of history.
